-
Higher case volume and revenue
Sites working with Blackwell have increased their case volume and revenue, by over 40% in some cases.
-
Anesthesia billing handled by us
Blackwell bills for anesthesia services directly, so your front office does not take on anesthesia claims. Other custom billing models are available on request.

Got a text or bill from Blackwell Anesthesia?
Blackwell Anesthesia is a real anesthesia practice. We provide the anesthesia care at the facilities listed above. Once your insurance has processed the anesthesia claim, any balance you owe is billed in our name, separately from your doctor and the facility.
Why it can look unfamiliar
-
It may arrive as a text message
Balance notices go out by text message and by email. The text may not name the center where you had your procedure.
-
The phone number is from Texas
Our billing is handled by Medical Reimbursement Solutions, a medical billing company. Its office number, 325-675-6466, has a Texas area code.
-
The email may be in your spam folder
Statements are sent from admin@mrsclaimsbilling.com. If you are expecting one and do not see it, check spam.
-
You may not have heard our name
Your anesthesia provider may not have mentioned Blackwell Anesthesia on the day of your procedure. Anesthesia is a separate practice from your surgeon and the facility, so it bills under its own name.
How to check before you pay
-
Ask for a detailed statement
Call or email the billing office below and ask for a statement showing what your insurance paid and what you owe. It can be emailed to you.
-
Compare it with your insurance
Your explanation of benefits shows an anesthesia claim from Blackwell Anesthesia for the day of your procedure, with the same balance.
-
Check the date and the place
The date of service is the day you had your procedure, at one of the facilities listed on this page.
-
Ask your surgery center
The staff there know Blackwell Anesthesia and can confirm we are legitimate. They cannot look up your anesthesia balance. The billing office can.
